HUMAN DOX EARLY DIRECTION

Keep the voice
behind the story.

A parent’s recipe. A place they called home. A lesson that took years to learn. Human Dox explores how families could keep those experiences in a person’s own words—and find them again.

M / 01The original voice staysA memory connected to its source, its people and its context.

A memory,
with its meaning.

The way someone tells a story is part of the story. We imagine keeping the original recording alongside who was speaking, when it was captured and the details that help it make sense.

“What did Mum say about her first home?”
A question could lead back to her recording, with its date and context.

01

The original voice

Keep a clear connection to what a person actually recorded. A generated answer should never be presented as their words.

02

The story around it

Names, dates, places, photographs and notes could help a family understand an experience in context.

03

A way back

Explore retrieval that helps people find a relevant moment and return to its source, with uncertainty made clear.

Let families choose

What gets recorded, who may access it, how it can be shared and when it should be removed are central design questions. A person’s choices should shape the experience.

Think about the years ahead

Keeping a memory useful over time raises practical questions about formats, export, ownership and continued access. Those questions belong in the design from the beginning.

AN EARLY DIRECTION

Human Dox is not a released service. Storage, privacy, retrieval and long-term access still need to be designed and tested. This website does not collect or store family memories.
